And so it came to pass that the Bulls Deep crew held it's first (hopefully annual) Almost-MLK-Day-Blacktacular. A good time was had by all and jive turkeys were not tolerated.

Most ironically on that day, the only physically black person missed out on most of the festivities. Yes, Team Bj got stuck at work firmly under the thumb of the man. As such, he missed Black Devil Doll. This was shameful because this movie played out kind of like a glorified autobiography of Team Bj. Much like Black Devil Doll, Team Bj is a little on the short side, is all about black power and loves having sex with dead white chicks. Ha ha, just kidding y'all. Bj isn't really that big into Black Power.

He did make it to the special midnight showing of Black Dynamite at the lovely Inwood Theater in Dallas. I am officially naming Black Dynamite as the greatest movie of all-time for 2010. Even though I'm not black, never had a brother, never fought in Vietnam, never loved up five women at once and do not know kung fu, I can't help but see my life story in that movie.

The New Year -- A Team Billy post

2009 was the Year of the Ox, but Y2KX is the Year of the Bull. Bulls Deep that is.

This whole Taurian Films thing was little more than an abstract concept until the waning months of 2009. Insourcing started filming and the podcast was launched, making this oddly named thing of Bj's a reality. But it's about to get a whole lot more real in Y2KX. Insourcing will finally and/or hopefully get finished and unleashed upon the world. New projects will be started and the podcast will continue to grow and evolve.

Yes ladies and gents, Y2KX will be the Deepenese word for validation.
